The FibreFENCE Railing is a modular, self-standing fencing system assembled from pultruded GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer) profiles. Standard heights range from 1 to 2.5 meters, with additional dimensions available on request. The structural design features a calculated clear span ratio — the ratio of open space to solid material — that gives the fence its characteristic railing-style appearance while maintaining high mechanical resistance. All components carry certified radio transparency, an ICAO-compliant frangibility declaration, CATAS UV-ray certification, and artificial weathering test approval under ASTM G154-06. No metallic elements are used anywhere in the structure.

The panel build is fully maintenance-free across its service life — GFRP does not corrode, degrade, or require protective coating. Upon request, fine GFRP mesh can be added to the lower section of panels to block small wildlife and debris from passing through. Vertical posts accept UV-resistant plastic upper-arm accessories for mounting plastic, barbed, or concertina anti-intrusion wires. The system connects with most standard perimeter intrusion detection, monitoring, and access control platforms. Design, engineering, and manufacturing are configured according to each client’s site-specific requirements.

FibreFENCE Railing is specifically suited for airport zones subject to jet-blast — the high-velocity air discharged from aircraft engines during taxiing and takeoff. Its clear span structure allows air pressure to pass through rather than build up against the panel face, preventing structural overload. It is also deployed along runway strips, taxiway boundaries, apron perimeters, and other restricted airside zones where ICAO frangibility and radio transparency compliance are required simultaneously.

Leader Infra provides this jet-blast rated, ICAO-certified fencing system for airport projects where structural integrity under extreme aerodynamic conditions is a non-negotiable operational requirement — backed by a full suite of international certifications.

FAQ — Why is a clear span ratio important for fencing in jet-blast zones? A calculated clear span ratio allows high-velocity airflow from jet engines to pass through the fence structure rather than applying full pressure against a solid surface. This significantly reduces the load on posts and panels, preventing structural failure while maintaining the required perimeter security and ICAO frangibility compliance.
